CRVI is proud to welcome Marc-André Montplaisir to the team as our new Senior Robotics Expert, joining Centre de robotique, vision et IA in its mission to make businesses more competitive by harnessing the potential of artificial intelligence in robotics and vision. Marc-André specializes in industrial robotics.
A wide range of experience
Marc-André kicked off his career at Prodevco Industries, a robotic integrator, as a robotics engineer and head of projects.
Next he branched out into cosmetics with KDC, where in the position of process engineer he was in charge of production efficiency. He also worked at GE as a robotics project leader in aviation before going on to Exo-S as a robotics expert serving the automotive sector.
Marc-André graduated from the University of Sherbrooke in mechanical engineering and has a master’s in organizational management. He also knows his way around the manufacturing sector.
As CRVI’s business development manager Louis St-Pierre points out, “the wide-ranging knowledge and experience Marc-André has acquired in the past 20 years give him the ability to act as a catalyst for lateral innovation.”
